prices - how to book

Our guests usually head for Ancona (with Ryanair from Stansted). We organise a shuttle (in the form of a mini-bus, rather than a space-ship) to meet the Thursday flight every week (details below).

There are, though, other flight options.  Ryanair also flies to Bologna Forli and Rimini.  Both are about the same distance from us as Ancona.

The flights to Bologna Forli are less convenient (time-wise), but sometimes cheaper than Ancona (please choose the morning flights to get here in time).

The recently-introduced flights to Rimini are convenient and the prices are still very good.

For both Bologna Forli and Rimini, it’s pretty easy to get to The Hill, even if we’re not organising a transfer from the airport (and we would if there were 3 or more guests on the flight):  all you have to do is take the train from Forli or Rimini to Pesaro (less than an hour’s trip costing less than €10) and we can then help you to arrange a taxi up to The Hill from there
(45min. trip costing €50).

If you do fly to Ancona (with Ryanair from Stansted), we will meet you with a transfer shuttle at the airport (and take you back at the end of your stay).  The journey takes 1¼ hrs and costs €70 for the return trip. Please reserve your place on the transfer with us when you book and pay us when you arrive at The Hill.

You can of course hire a car (through Ryanair and Hertz) at any of the airports (we’ll give you thorough directions), though most of our guests tend to jump into taxis together when they fancy leaving The Hill for an excursion.
