Tai Chi with Matthew Rochford
£695

Matthew Rochford is one of the leading Tai Chi teachers in the UK: he has written the book ‘Total Tai Chi’ and heads the organisation Tai Chi Nation.

If you’ve not done Tai Chi before, you’ve probably seen people practising it. It is the graceful and relaxing Chinese moving form. By moving in a certain (very slow) way, energy (chi) flows harmoniously around the body, creating deep relaxation, healing and a sense of aliveness. Matthew will teach a beautiful short form that you can then take away with you and practise at home… or in the park (as the Chinese do).

Matthew: “The essence of Tai Chi is letting go: melting into strong alignment to feel powerful, rooted and in tune again.  This undoubtedly leads to joy and healing – pretty cool, eh?   All it takes from us is a bit of practice and a good method. Tai Chi offers this in the form of a moving (deep and profound) meditation.”

Student comment: “The Tai Chi was better than I ever expected thanks to a great (patient) teacher” Julie.
