Hatha yoga class at The Hill That Breathes

The morning practice will start with a moving meditation, some breath exercises, then move into opening and energising asanas… that will grow and build organically with the energy of the group throughout the week, helping you to develop your confidence and strength.

The afternoon practice will be more restorative, with gentle asanas and moving into deep meditation (a nice transition into the chilled evenings at The Hill)

Do book early for this week: the same period last year was full months in advance.

All our yoga holidays are designed for all levels. As on other weeks, there is one session in the morning and one late-afternoon.

We're chuffed to welcome another fantastic London teacher to our programme this year. Helen reminded us of our lead yoga teacher, Helena Bingham, in more than just name. She too is a loving, powerful woman, who teaches gentle, opening Hatha Yoga.

Helen has practised many different styles of yoga and is inspired and influenced by the gentle beauty of Hatha Yoga, the precision and alignment of Iyengar and the energy of Power Vinyasa.

Helen is passionate about her yoga, and certainly walks (and stretches) the talk:

“Yoga has been my best friend through many trying times” she says, “I love to share what I have learned along the way.”

In this week, Helen will teach Hatha Yoga, allowing you to work entirely at your own pace (whatever level you are), bring you fully into your body, and into the present moment. She will create a space where you can completely let go and appreciate that where you are now is exactly where you need to be.
