Helena's yoga is amazing, and will be a pillar to the week. In her yoga, which has a Hatha base, she mixes deep letting go with beautiful physical work. Some sessions will be lively and active, offering detailed Asana technique and flowing sequences to increase heat and energy levels, and others will be soft and restorative to really let go into the different postures.
By the end of the week you'll want to take Helena home with you (and the chef, and the yoga dome, and a few trees), but you'll certainly take back an immensely satisfying and clearing experience, and a lighter body and spirit (oh, go on then… you'll look great in your bikini / trunks)
Helena Bingham has been in the healthcare industry for more than twenty two years and is a natural nutritionist with over ten years of professional experience.
Helena has developed hundreds of nutrition plans for clients in the areas of weight loss, fertility, stress management, IBS and various other medical and health concerns. She has been teaching yoga for 15 years.
This week is open to all. As on other weeks, there is one session in the morning and one in the afternoon with plenty of space in between.
Timed to coincide with the precise moment that all the magazines will be going on about getting into shape for the beach, we're very excited to have our lead yoga teacher and nutritionist, Helena Bingham running this Yoga & Detox week
Helena mixes her deep experience in the field of nutrition and yoga with an amazing ability to support and guide people in achieving what they want without striving or stress. Around her, everyone feels at ease, relaxed and helped. This is very important in a Yoga & Detox week where lots of changes will be happening. She will encourage and guide each student, leaving freedom to work (and eat!) at one's own pace.
In this week Helena will combine three main elements: very healthy eating, removing toxins with natural body techniques, and daily yoga practice.
This week will be wheat-free, with options of dairy, gluten, caffeine and sugar free, depending on what you want and what you decide after hearing Helena's suggestions. Helena will create a daily forum to discuss nutrition: for sharing, guiding and answering questions.
Helena will teach natural techniques such as skin brushing, movement, water therapy, massage, enemas (for the ones who want it) to accelerate and deepen the detox. Healing Chinese teas and a Tea Ceremony (run by Gaia Pollini) will also be part of the week, to experience and benefit from the energy and clearing power of these rare teas.
